For fixed degree $d\leq 12$, we study the Hilbert scheme of degree $d$ smoothFano threefolds in their anticanonical embeddings. We use this to classify allpossible degenerations of these varieties to toric Fano varieties with at mostcanonical Gorenstein singularities.
